To buy or not to buy? That is the question. Nowadays a great number of people love shopping, though others believe that it is pointless to spare free time on this activity.
As far as I am concerned, shopping is the waste of time for a few reasons. Firstly, it takes much time to do it. Finding the right item is not a quick process. Secondly, it requires going to a special mall which is exhausting. Lastly, in order to find the needed product one must be patient and persistent. Otherwise there is a chance to buy nothing.
However, some people do not agree with my point of view. According to them, shopping is a great pastime. Besides, it helps to avoid the routine and to relax. Consequently, it is a meaningful activity, not a waste of time.
Nevertheless, I do not agree with these arguments because they are not convincing for me. This is exactly owing to my belief that there are more efficient ways to relax and have fun. For example, it is much better to enjoy some amusements with friends or go to some special entertaining places like the cinema. Thus, these activities are more interesting than just shopping.
In conclusion, I would like to state that shopping takes a great deal of free time, which can be dedicated to more useful deeds. Therefore, I go shopping if only it is necessary.
